Who I am

Hi, I'm Diana.

Early childhood specialist, pedagogical guide and Hebrew teacher. I believe children learn best when the grown-ups around them feel calm, curious and supported.

My story

I have spent my working life with young children: in classrooms, in childcare teams and with families at the kitchen table. Along the way I learned that there is rarely one right answer. There is the child in front of us, the family around them, and the small steps that make sense right now.

Many of the families I work with have moved to a new country. Their children are growing up between two languages, and the parents wonder how to keep their home language strong without slowing down the new one. That question is close to my heart, and it is the reason I started Diana advies en begeleiding.

How I work

I don't come to tell you what to do. We look at the situation together, at eye level, and I offer ideas you can try, adjust or leave aside. Inspired by Montessori, I trust that children learn through experience: by touching, trying and exploring a prepared environment.

At eye level

You know your child best. I bring knowledge and a fresh look; together we find what fits.

Play first

Play is how young children learn language, social skills and confidence. We start there.

Small steps

No big plans you can't keep. Small, doable changes that grow with your child.

Talks and workshops

I give webinars and workshops for parents and educators, including "First steps in a new language", about building a safe bilingual bridge for young children. Interested in a session for your group or school? Get in touch.
